Community School Coordinator

I will oversee the delivery of services provided through the Promise Neighborhood grant. Internally, I will work with school administrations, teachers, school-based programs, youth, and family members to ensure integration of services at the school site. Externally, I will connect with community agencies, resources, and in-kind services to bring new resources to our families.

College & Career Advisor

I will be responsible for the development and implementation of YPI’s college-and-career readiness program. I will collaborate with school staff to promote services to students and parents to increase the number of students graduating college and career ready.

College & Career Advisor

I will manage the day-to-day operations of the expended learning program. Establish and maintain positive relationships, and communication with school personnel, YPI staff, students and families regarding all aspects of student involvement in the expanded learning program. I will supervise the expanded learning frontline staff.

GEAR UP Site Coordinator

I oversee the implementation of GEAR UP services for this year’s 9th graders. I am primary liaison with school administrators and teachers to coordinate student and family workshops, counseling/advising sessions, college and enrichment field trips, and family events. I also supervise all GEAR UP tutors and oversee our in-class and after-school tutoring programs trips and guest speakers to prepare students for college.

GEAR UP College Access advisor

I support the implementation of GEAR UP services for this year’s 9th graders. I will facilitate student and family workshops, conduct counseling/advising sessions, and coordinate field trips and family events.

YPI identifies and supports students in English Language Arts and Mathematics through differentiated, small group and 1-on-1 instruction within general education classrooms.

Senior Youth Leader

I will provide homework support and a variety of academic, enrichment and recreational activities to students who are enrolled in the expanded learning program. Student services take place during after school hours.

Athletics Instructor

I will plan and facilitate meaningful sports-based youth development programming. I specialize in conditioning, weight training and any sport assigned. Student services take place during after school hours.

Enrichment Instructor

I will provide meaningful instruction for students in marching band instruction and drums. Student services take place during after school hours.
